**2nd Shift - Monday through Friday **4 :00 p m to 12:30am

In addition to the noted pay range, there is also a 10% Shift differential for those on the 2nd Shift

***:Maintains production yields by directly inspecting and/or reviewing reports and coordinating with other shifts to keep the process at peak efficiency and quality including equipment, settings, auxiliary units, robotics, etc.) In addition, this role directs and executes tool changes per the production schedule.

**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS**:_Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions- Setup injection molding processes using previously established process parameters.
- Document in detail, molding process, mold set up, work cell layout, and troubleshooting information for each job that is setup and placed into production.
- Monitor and verify product quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures.
- Make process adjustments to improve product quality and reduce defects.
- Reports any malfunctions or abnormalities and makes minor adjustments and repairs to equipment.
- Performs tests to verify production/process conditions
- Monitors meters, gauges, valves, flow ratios, temperatures, pressures, and related controls and guidelines to ensure adherence to production/process specifications
- Tends automatic or semiautomatic machines and related equipment in a continuous production/processing operation
- Support current production needs for trouble shooting and process improvement.
- Participate in activities pertaining to cycle time and process improvements.
- Develop and maintain process documentation.
- Ensures ISO and safety standards are adhered.
- Maintain contact with interdepartmental managers to provide feedback when dealing with process or material changes.
- Understand and execute all plant policies and procedures.

Develop and maintain positive team member relations centered on mutual trust, dignity, respect, fairness, consistency, two-way communication, teamwork, and harmony.

**OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Responsible for identifying quality problems in products.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
- Ability to operate a personal computer including using a Windows based operating system and related software. Advanced PC skills, including training and knowledge of EPTAM’s software packages (IQMS).
- Good housekeeping and safe working habits.

**MINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED**:

- **EDUCATION**:Trade school graduate or associates degree or a combination of experience and education.
- Knowledge of Scientific Molding principals
- Experience: 3+ years experience in an injection molding operation
- Experience in a 24/7 manufacturing/molding operation
- Proven success in maintaining positive employee relations
- **OTHER MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS**: Must possess good written and verbal communication skills with our internal and external customers. Basic knowledge of equipment. Advanced ability to read prints and use measuring equipment along with advanced math skills.

Demonstrates experience in performance development, teaching/leading, mentoring and/or organization development. Instills appropriate behavior in others in support of EPTAM values
