**SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS**:
To excel in the role of a Burlington Police Officer, you should possess the following skills:

- Strong report writing skills
- Excellent conflict management skills
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to work in an environment with discipline and professionalism
- Relevant certification or training in law enforcement is preferred but not required
- Achieve a passing exam score on the getbadged entry exam (75% or above for non-Veterans, 70% or above for Veterans)

**If you are a Lateral Transfer Officer, **you are NOT required to take the entry exam.

Please note that all applicants will undergo a thorough background check as part of the selection process.

Pay: $59,000.00 - $71,500.00 per year
