Expected salary range of $127,800 to $142,000, varies based on experience, along with comprehensive benefits package that includes bonus and 401(k).

**PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION**

Responsible for providing technical, regulatory, and programmatic direction for the environmental functional area of Constellation Hydrogen and Commercial Projects team. Assures that the highest level of planning and execution of project with the consideration of all applicable environmental rules and regulations. Responsible for licensing, permitting, commissioning and integration and completion of specific environmental regulatory filings for all environmental programs. This Subject Matter Expert (SME) is responsible for providing technical and regulatory support and expertise for development, construction, integration, mergers, acquisition, and divesture projects.

**PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES**
- Manage environmental support for new build or large capital projects including planning and execution of origination due diligence, initial permitting, construction, commissioning, and integration.
- Develop permitting and agency consultation strategies to help ensure project uncertainty and risks are understood, communicated, and mitigated.
- Coordinate with project team to ensure environmental due diligence, siting, and permitting, commissioning, and integration actions and schedule are integrated into the overall project schedule.
- Coordinate the engagement, selection, and management of Environmental Contractors to support project activities. Monitor and manage contractor spend and other information (contract number, spend to date, forecasted spend, description of services, schedule, accruals, etc.) and provide update to project management and financial controls, as necessary.
- Track and communicate status of environmental actions and risks to internal stakeholders to effectively accomplishes project goals within budget, quality, and time standards.
- Participate in OEM, EPC, OE, and various counterparty contract preparation and negotiation to ensure environmental aspect are addressed and risks are mitigated.
- Manage environmental aspects of due diligence efforts including site visits, contractor support, preparation of due diligence document and reports, preparing environmental schedules, commenting on purchase sale agreements, and overall support to the due diligence process for mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures.
- Support the development, implementation, and maintenance of procedures, processes and other tools for environmental areas related to mergers, acquisitions, and divestures (due diligence), and construction management.
- Perform all other assigned duties.

**MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS**
- BS in engineering, natural or physical sciences, chemistry, or environmental science with 8 years' professional experience OR
- Associate degree with 10+ relevant years' experience and 3+ years' exempt-level experience
- In-depth knowledge of environmental regulatory requirements for power plants
- Ability to manage multiple issues/priorities with conflicting priorities.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including written and verbal.
- Strong computer skills, including knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite products.

**PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS**
- Project Management experience
- Advanced Degree (MS, M. Engr) in natural or physical sciences, or environmental engineering
- Experience with State, County and Local Development and Site Plan approval
- Experienced with Rare, Threatened and Endangered Species Habitat consultation and mitigation
- Knowledge of Wetland and Waterbody delineation and experience with USEPA, ACOE and State permitting and mitigation
- Experience with Historical and Cultural Assessment
- Experienced with Air Quality Permitting
- Experience with NPDE
