Pre-med Ophthalmic Scribe

**About the Practice**:
**Retina and Uveitis Center (RUC)** is an ophthalmology practice providing sub-specialty care in the fields of Vitreoretinal Diseases and Uveitis at Tysons Corner. The center currently is a solo-practice in a single location.

This is a great opportunity to gain clinical hours, familiarity with healthcare system and acquire medical knowledge.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Scribe for the provider during clinic
- Review of patients charts, ensuring completeness and accuracy
- Checking vision and intraocular pressure
- Administer eye drops for patients
- Assist with procedures
- Perform diagnostic testing
- Complete additional tasks and duties as assigned
- Maintain a positive demeanor, consistent attention to detail, and ability to work within a team

**Education**:
Bachelor's (preferred)

Pre-med (a plus)

**Employment with Retina and Uveitis Center (RUC)** **is contingent upon successful completion of a background check, which may include, but is not limited to; contacting your professional references, verification of previous employment, addresses, education, and credentials, a criminal background check, and drug screening.**

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $18.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
