De La Terre is an upscale, modern French BYOB located in the heart of historic Downingtown, Pennsylvania. D_e _L_a _T_erre _means from the earth so our menus are constantly changing with the seasons and what the land has to offer. We work closely with local farmers, foragers, and artisans to sustainably source our ingredients for peak flavor and freshness to incorporate into our À la carte and tasting menus. We are looking for experienced members to add to our team that possess a strong work ethic and a passion for fine dining and excellent customer service.

**FULL TIME AVAILABILITY IS A MUST**

**Responsibilities**:

- Work under direction of Managers/Chef
- Able to discuss and identify allergies and dietary restrictions and properly communicate them to the kitchen
- Weekend availability is a must
- Creates memorable experiences to build repeat business
- Responsible for stocking stations and maintaining cleanliness throughout the restaurant before and after service
- Provide quality service to all guests while having a personable and professional demeanor
- Maintain accurate knowledge of current menu items
- Participate in new menu training as we change our menus seasonally
- effectively communicate any specials or tasting menus to guests
- Proper wine/champagne service
- Ability to work cohesively as a team
- Proper water, coffee, and bread service performed as outlined in our steps of service
- Polish all stemware and silverware
- Set dining rooms and tables as outlined in our steps of service

**Physical Requirements**:

- Must be able to seize, grasp, turn and hold objects with hands.
- Must be able to work on your feet for at least 8 hours.
- Must be able to move, pull, carry or lift at least 20 to 60 pounds.
- Occasionally kneel, bend, and crouch as required.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $100.00 - $350.00 per day
