**Position Overview**: We are seeking a skilled Service Technician to join our team and contribute to our mission of delivering superior water treatment solutions. As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing water softeners, filters, and related equipment at our customers' homes and businesses. This is a hands-on role that requires technical proficiency, excellent customer service skills, and a commitment to delivering outstanding results.
**Responsibilities**:
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair residential water softeners, filters, and related equipment.
- Conduct routine maintenance and service calls to ensure optimal performance of water treatment systems.
- Diagnose technical issues and develop effective solutions to address customer concerns.
- Provide knowledgeable and courteous customer service, explaining product features and maintenance procedures to customers.
- Complete service reports, documentation, and administrative tasks accurately and in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with team members and management to improve processes and enhance the customer experience.
**Qualifications**:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or vocational training in plumbing, HVAC, or related field preferred.
- Proven experience in servicing and repairing water softeners, filters, or similar water treatment equipment.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills; ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills; ability to interact professionally with customers and coworkers.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record; ability to travel to customer locations as needed.
- Self-motivated and detail-oriented; ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
