The Operations Specialist will assume the role of the Executive Director/Department heads during times of vacancy. This position will play a key role in acquisition activity including interim placement as well as training and establishing Gardant policy and procedures. Additionally, while on assignment, they will coordinate the community quality assurance program and establish systems to monitor compliance to resident care policies and procedures. Responsible for compliance with regulations set forth by regulating agencies and local health department as well as other states. Must have the ability to read, analyze, and interpret financial statements and budgets; establish an accurate accounting system to control expenses for all departments; calculate and process payroll information for all community employees; and monitor accounts receivable reports for billing and collection purposes.:
The Operations Specialist should have prior Executive Director experience. Prior experience as Regional Director of Operations is preferred. Must be professional with excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must meet the requirements established by the Department of Public Health’s Assisted Living Facility licensure regulations/Healthcare and Family Services certification requirements, and must have five - seven years’ experience. Knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Excel, Word and Outlook also required. Must be willing to travel overnight.
