Linehaul Coordinator plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient movement of freight or goods between our 13 terminal locations. The Linehaul Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the scheduling, routing, and tracking of linehaul operations to meet customer requirements and optimize resources.

Job Duties:

- **Routing and scheduling linehaul considering distance, time constraints and available resources.**:

- Monitor route efficacy and adjust as needed.
- Communicate effectively with drivers or carriers to provide instructions, relay information about changes in schedule or route.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for drivers regarding linehaul operations.
- Utilize tracing systems and technology tolls to monitor progress of the linehaul shipments.
- Maintain accurate records of shipment status, to include departures, arrivals, delays and incidents.
- Ensure compliance and safety in all areas of Linehaul department.

Qualifications:

- High School Diploma
- 2 + years of experience in Logistics or Transportation.
- Previous experience in Linehaul coordination or transportation industry (LTL) routing.
- Strong organizational skills
- Strong ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills both verbally and written.
- Pruriency in computer software to include transportation management systems (TMS) Knowledge of transportation regulations and industry best practices.
- Willingness to work nights.
