**Duties**

Duties include but not limited to:

- Love children
- Pray for the children, families, and team at Garden City on a regular basis
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with children and parents
- Supervise and ensure the safety and well-being of the children at all times, being alert for the needs and/or problems of the children as individuals and as a group
- Plan and implement the daily program with the help of a team teacher, apprentice teacher, or teaching assistant, if applicable
- Handle discipline promptly and in accordance with stated policy on discipline
- Work with parents to resolve any ongoing behavior issues with their child
- Report to the Director any special needs or problems of individual children
- Keep parents informed daily how their child did that day
- Have fun

**Requirements**:

- TB Test
- Fingerprint Clearance Card
- Food Handlers Card
- First Aid/CPR - Child/Infant and Adult
- High School Diploma or GED
- Attend Team Meeting 1x month after hours
- 25 hours of professional development annually
- 6+ months experience in a child care setting**
