The Events Facility Coordinator is responsible for administering all non-educational programs, vendors and sponsor relationships of Circle Square Commons. **Essential Duties and Responsibilities**

- Creates an environment that fosters cultural, social and recreational opportunities for both On Top of the World residents and the general public
- Manages a calendar of entertainment events that promotes a festive, energized atmosphere within the Town Center
- Ensures events are planned, managed and executed on the Town Square
- Ensures audio, video, and lights is executed for events on the Town Square and Cultural Center
- Manages calendar of events that are included in the Master the Possibilities program conducted in the Cultural Center
- Works in cooperation with the staff of the Health & Recreation department to provide the most up to date and meaningful programs
- Works closely with internal and external customers to develop a seamless continuity of services
- Supports and satisfies the specific requirements of entertainers
- Coordinates the set-up of various facilities within CSC/Cultural Center with the maintenance supervisor
- Accepts assignments to committees, task forces, etc., when requested
- Must be flexible to work event nights and weekends
- Performs all duties in adherence to OTOW standards
- Strives to maintain a safe working environment through the prevention of accidents, the preservation of equipment, and the achievement of safe working practices
- Maintains a positive and professional demeanor toward all residents, visitors and coworkers
- Performs other duties as assigned

**Qualifications (Education, Experience, Technical Skills)**

**Education and Experience**:

- High School Diploma or equivalent required, Associate’s Degree preferred
- 3+ years of experience with event planning, implementation, and execution

**Skills and Knowledge**:

- Broad functional experience in areas of entertainment including but not limited to live performances, festivals, art shows, and farmers markets, etc.
- Familiarity with word processing and basic knowledge of audio and visual equipment
- Must have strong interpersonal skills, good judgement and be capable of communication with a diverse range of individuals
- Ability to communicate, organize, prioritize, schedule and multi-task in a highly systematized and detailed manner
- Customer Service and communication skills
