**Qualifications**

Assists with a variety of technical accounting duties to ensure fiscal, financial and statistical records are accurate.

**Representative Duties**:
1. Performs a full range of clerical duties in support of assigned program area

2. Assist in processing accounts receivable and accounts payable

3. Assist in balancing and reconciling accounts

4. Assists in reviewing records/reports, researching/resolving/reconciling discrepancies

5. Provides assistance by scanning incoming mail and distributing as needed

6. Data entry

7. Other duties as assigned

The following generally describes the knowledge and ability required to enter the job and/or be learned within a short period of time in order to successfully perform the assigned duties.

**Minimum Requirements**:

**Desired Qualifications**:
An Associate's degree or the completion of sixty (60) semester units of college level course work. In the absence of an Associate's degree or sixty (60) semester units, completion of high school and five (5) years of experience in accounting involving automated accounting systems.
