A Stocking Associate is responsible for receiving, organizing, and maintaining store inventory. They ensure that the store's products are adequately stocked, displayed, and secured, ensuring that customers can easily find and purchase what they need.

- Receive and unload merchandise from delivery trucks
- Stock shelves with products according to company standards
- Rotate and organize merchandise to ensure freshness and optimal presentation
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate any shortages or discrepancies
- Assist customers with locating products and provide friendly and knowledgeable service
- Operate equipment such as pallet jacks to move heavy items
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the stockroom and sales floor

Key duties and responsibilities:
1. Receiving and unloading delivery trucks, inspecting the goods for any damages and verifying the accuracy of the delivery.
2. Sorting, organizing, and storing inventory in the proper location.
3. Stocking shelves, racks, cases, bins, and tables with new or transferred merchandise.
4. Cleaning and organizing the store, including the checkout desk and displays.
5. Handling and moving objects, such as boxes and heavy merchandise.
6. Assisting customers in locating desired shop items.
7. Regularly checking and maintaining inventory accuracy.
8. Reporting any inventory discrepancies to the manager.
9. Ensuring that the store is kept clean and presentable.
10. Assisting with store opening and closing procedures.
