We are a privately owned, AAHA Accredited, 7,000 sqf animal hospital. We provide doggie daycare, grooming, and boarding for dogs, cats and exotics.

**JOB SUMMARY Kennel** **Technician (Full-Time/Part-Time)**

The Kennel Technician oversees and provides care and basic needs of animals that are being groomed, boarded, or that are patients of the practice.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Do you want to do this?**
- Cleaning of cages, runs, and ward areas
- Laundry and facility maintenance to provide a clean and safe environment for pets
- Technical skills to facilitate the provision of medication to boarding patients
- Maintain daily computer records and patient care flow sheets
- Patient assessment skills to recognize when boarders are sick and inform the doctor
- Some weekends, holidays, and evenings required

**EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND AND WORK EXPERIENCE**:

- Associates or Bachelors Degree or equivalent preferred
- 1+ years of kennel or technician experience

- Compensation for this role is commensurate with experience.
