**Program Leadership**

The Division Director will supervise and develop the program portfolio based on funder requirements, best practices, and emerging needs.
- Lead the Youth Development Centers to sustain and enhance QCH’s comprehensive after-school and summer programming across all community and school-based OST programs.
- Oversee program development and implementation; assessment and evaluation; and staff development and performance evaluations.
- Ensure that QCH provides high-quality, data-informed programming that students love attending.
- Coordination and collaboration across QCH programs and units (Beacon and YDC), critical analysis of research in the field and impact on our youth and programs, advocacy and community-building efforts, and public policy initiatives interaction on an agency-wide basis with the goal of building a holistic system of service delivery and community-building efforts across all departments and programs for and with our participants.

**Staff Development and Program Operations**

With the ability to translate vision into action, the Division Director will oversee the day-to-day operations of all YDC programming. The Division Director will provide the Multi-Site Directors with the tools they need to develop successful teams.
- Manage day-to-day operations, strategic direction and oversight of afterschool portfolio of 15 Youth Development Centers (school and community-based programs) and the after-school component of the Beacon programs in 3 additional school based-sites in collaboration with the Director of Beacon Services and the Multi-Site Supervisors.
- Assess and manage subcontractors, consultants and vendors to ensure program efficacy and support of program requirements and internal and external goals
- Provide ongoing management, coaching, and professional development of Multisite Directors, Program Directors, and Instructional Staff with regard to implementing and utilizing systems, processes, and following protocols.
- Oversee planning and monitor staffing and program budgets with support from the AED.
- Oversee program reports and documentation send to funders and external stakeholders.
- Superior attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Strong ability to multi-task and set prioritize.

**Community Collaboration**

The Division Director will represent QCH through advocacy, networks, coalitions, community-building efforts, and public policy initiatives on an agency-wide basis. Additionally, this position will be responsible for the overall reporting of programs to various funders, working closely with the AED for Youth Services.
- Build and maintain collaborative relationships with school leadership and the NYC Department of Education district leadership, in collaboration with staff and the Associate Executive Director (AED) of Youth Services.
- Build and maintain relationships with funders such as the NYC Department of Youth and Community Development (COMPASS), NYS SED 21st Century Community Learning Centers, as well as other city, state and private funders.
- Outreach and development of collegial relationships with other community-based organizations, funding agencies, resource organizations, technical assistance providers, and the youth community.

**Qualifications**:

- Master’s degree in Education, Social Work, or related field
- Significant human services leadership, supervision and management experience achieving outcomes in a school and community settings and demonstrated ability to inspire and develop others toward ambitious outcomes. (7+ years)
- Understanding compliance and implementation of DOE, DYCD, DOH (list other contracts).
- SACC Director Certification

**Skills and Abilities**:

- Able to work with a diverse staff of varying professional and educational experiences
- Experience with developing systems to collect and use information and managing and developing budgets to address ongoing program and implementation needs
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with high accountability and high support
- Must maintain security clearances and attend trainings/professional development required for the position
