The Director, Capital Markets will lead the execution effort for capital market transactions, including debt issuance and capital relief structures. Develop capital models and risk-management processes, consistent with the company’s risk management framework. Support the development and maintenance of the Capital Plan and deliver key model inputs, addressing all emerging regulatory requirements. Translate complex technical concepts to support sound business decisions.
**Responsibilities**:
Coordinate immediate requirement to produce Resolution Plan, collaborating with multiple stakeholders across the organization and external consulting firms to detail an orderly unwind of the bank’s franchise components while maintaining continuity of critical services.
Engage investment banks to determine market appetite and pricing for various capital market structures, staying abreast of market developments.
Produce and interpret the impacts of proposed transactions on modeled earnings, capital, and liquidity.
Manage complex transactions and processes among multiple stakeholders, including executive management, and help lead execution efforts, including assistance with due diligence, documentation, and investor roadshow activities.
Produce risk profiles and solvency assessments, creating models to provide support for Capital planning, Board presentations and management decisions.
Interpret emerging regulatory reporting requirements surrounding capital and liquidity, e.g. FR 2052a, helping to develop capabilities and coordinate production.
**Required skills and qualifications**:
Bachelor’s degree in related field; MBA preferred
Five or more years of experience in debt capital markets or capital management
Strong data analysis and modeling skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Personable, collaborative, and detail-oriented
**Preferred skills and qualifications**:
Experience in financial modeling, and capital markets execution
Knowledge of bank capital requirements
Investment banking background
The estimated salary range for this position is $150,000USD to $185,000USD. Actual salary may vary up or down depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position is eligible for incentive compensation.
