Temporary Case Aide

To assist the VR Counsellor with organization, structural interventions, and direct training in managing the workload and producing the work required of the Counsellor.

**Duties**:
1. Create a weekly schedule for Counsellor, by day, organizing and scheduling work to be accomplished, namely:

- Intakes
- School contacts, onsite & virtual
- case note writing and reviews,
- other duties as assigned or required
- client contacts a minimum of 2x annually
2. Train counsellor on the uses and techniques available on the Outlook suite of apps and programs.
3. To accomplish items 1 & 2 the aide may create visual aids, spreadsheets, or other means to remind or assist the counsellor in completion of their responsibilities.

This role is not an adjunct Counsellor position and as such will have no direct interface with clients and mínimal interface with other VR staff.

**Required / Desired Skills**

Work history as a personal assistant, Office personnel, or rehabilitation counselor

Mastery in Microsoft Outlook

Organizational skills

Ability to adapt

Teaching/training skills

Ability to use and create scheduling tools

**Job Type**: Contract

Pay: $18.00 - $19.73 per hour

**Experience**:

- Social work: 1 year (preferred)
