Overview:
Imperial Dade, a leading North American distributor, has an **Office Clerk** role available in Chelsea, MA The Office Clerk will assist in all aspects of general office functions including collaborating with departments - Customer Service, Purchasing, and Accounting, to provide support on a regular basis. The schedule for this position is full-time, Monday through Friday (Onsite) from 9:00am to 5:00pm.

**Responsibilities**:
You will:

- Provide general administrative duties, including but not limited to, answering calls, copying, distributing mail, and ad-hoc projects.
- Prepare essential documentation, including memos, reports, and other forms of communication
- Handling office tasks, such as filing, setting up for meetings, and reordering supplies.
- Update databases and records with financial, personnel and other information.
- Coordinate activities throughout the company to ensure efficiency and maintain compliance with company policy.
- Answering customer questions, providing information, processing orders, and addressing complaints.
- Collaborate with other teams including Customer Service, Purchasing, and Accounting providing administrative and clerical support on a regular basis.
- Update spreadsheets used by accounting, production, and field services as requested.
- Assisting with accounts receivable including simple bookkeeping and banking tasks.
- Communicate regularly with staff to help procure needed items.
- Responsible for day-to-day collection activities including contacting past due customers to secure payments

Qualifications:
You have:

- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- At least two years of clerical experience and bookkeeping preferred.
- Excellent communication abilities, including speaking, writing and active listening
- Effective organization and time management skills, like prioritization, multitasking and planning
- Great customer service skills, including a personable and positive attitude
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
