Position Summary:
Join Empower as our next Shipping Lead and take the helm in optimizing our supply chain operations. This role places you at the core of our logistics team, where you will support the Shipping Supervisor in managing the daily activities of our shipping department. It’s an opportunity not only to oversee but also to drive the efficiency and precision of order processing. This position is pivotal for ensuring our products reach their destinations promptly and accurately, maintaining our reputation for exceptional quality and service.

As the Shipping Lead, your impact will be immediate and significant. You will monitor and streamline the shipping processes, ensuring compliance with our stringent standards, and play a vital role in troubleshooting and resolving any shipping issues that arise. Duties and Responsibilities:

- Monitors the flow of the shipping process to verify compliance standards and procedures are met.
- Assists Shipping Supervisor with monitoring team performance via Life File reporting.
- Resolves shipping issues while actively preventing future recurrences.
- Assists in submitting orders and controls the integrity of supply inventory.
- Hands on Lead that performs all required duties of a Shipping Clerk.
- Leads shipping team through the daily pick and pack process according to company standard operating procedures.
- Adheres to company policies and procedures and reports any employee or process concerns to Shipping Supervisor.
- Guides, supports effective training of employees.
- Ensures shipping area is clean, organized, secure and safe at all times.
- Collaborates with other departments, such as pharmacy, data entry, and clinical support, to ensure accurate and timely order fulfillment.
- Fosters a culture of collaboration, innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Provides mentorship and feedback to team as needed.
- Stays abreast of industry trends and best practices.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

While performing the responsibilities of the job, the employee is required to talk and listen. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, reach with arms and hands, climb or balance, and to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The vision abilities required by this job include close vision. Employee must also be able to lift 50 lbs. or more.

Knowledge and Skills:

- Ability to perform basic math calculations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and percentage).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Skills-Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook.
- Excellent organization, prioritization Skills and the ability to multitask.
- Excellent detail orientation.
- Knowledge of courier operation processes.
