**POSITION**:Teachers Assistant Early Learning

**REPORTS TO**: Education Director

**TIME**: 35-40 hours per week

**DUTIES**:
1. Assist teaching team in establishing and maintaining a fun, healthy and safe environment.

2. Assist with classroom management by providing positive re-direction, helping the children to learn problem solving skills and setting appropriate limits.

3. Assist with implementing developmentally appropriate activities.

4. Assist with providing support for positive social/emotional development.

5. Assist the teacher with parent communication.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Must be at least 18 years old
- Have a high school diploma or equivalency
- Participate in an ongoing early childhood staff development program

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $15.00 per hour

**Benefits**:

- Paid time off

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

**Education**:

- High school or equivalent (preferred)

License/Certification:

- CPR Certification (preferred)
- Child Development Associate Certification (preferred)
