Installation and Service Manager

**Job purpose**:
To organize & schedule efficient installations & services.

Manage the communication and relationship between sales staff, customers, and installation crews.

**Key responsibilities and accountabilities**:
**Installation**:
Review retail job packets. Confirm quantities are correct, confirm all necessary materials are on order.

Call customers within 48-72 hours of the order being placed to update them that materials are on order and give ETA.

Schedule optimal installation crew for individual projects, by coordinating with sales staff and customer requested install dates. Communicate progress of scheduling with all affected parties.

Field customer calls during installation, and labor warranty period, and schedule in-house technician repairs/follow-up service calls.

Ensure completion of each job by managing follow-up with each customer after job is finished. Call Customers to collect CODs when required.

Help manage retail crews. Involved in monthly standards meetings

**Service**:
Build and maintain relationships with builder personnel.

Order & confirm all necessary materials will be available for scheduled services.

Invoice all billable service & track collection.

Track builder punch lists, schedule completion, and ensure deadlines met.

Other duties and assignments as needed.

**Person profile - Service and Installation Manager**

**Personality**: Detail oriented individual with high focus on customer service organization, and follow-up. Must be a natural multi-tasker able to handle high-demand tasks calmly and professionally in a fast-paced working environment.

**Specific Job Skills**: Able to organize and schedule multiple job installations for multiple orders each day. Understands the principles of installation, scheduling, and job preparation. Able to translate individual project demands into a fully executed installation plan.

**Literacy and Numeracy**: Able to understand material and labor quantities, profit margin calculations, and ancillary items calculations. Must be a very competent writer, and be able to professionally communicate to customers, sales staff, and installation staff.

**Business and Selling Skills**: Must be an excellent face-to-face and telephone communicator. Able to work through issues while protecting the interests of the company, and still delivering on expectations. Demonstrate success managing and communicating expectations and limitations to sales staff, management, and clients. Ideal background would be in scheduling or operations role with flooring experience.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
