**What you’ll be doing at ACP Early Intervention**:ACP Early Intervention is looking for a Teacher Assistant at our Plainview Center Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with disabilities and children on the Autism Spectrum? Then come and join our team of dedicated professionals_Teacher Assistant_ will work under the direct supervision of a Head Classroom Teacher and will be part of a multi-disciplinary team while providing 1:1 instruction in a classroom setting with children ranging from 18 months to 3 years of age. Arrive on time and prepare for daily sessions
- Work collaboratively with a Head Classroom Teacher & Educational Director to implement basic principles and teaching procedures of ABA- Collect behavior and skill acquisition data during sessions
- Complete the session notes immediately after the session
- Be responsive to the needs and requests of students, their families, and their supervisor
- Attend Professional Development Training, as required
- Be goal-oriented and maintain professionalism in all aspects of your work
- The ability to physically lift up to 50 lbs.
**Qualifications**- A high school diploma or equivalent; a college student pursuing a degree in one of the following fields is preferred: Early Childhood Education/ Special Education, Psychology, Behavioral Science, Human Services, Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA)
- Experience working with children with developmental delays or in an early childhood setting preferred
- Ability to work closely with children between the ages of 0 - 3yr
