Horse Farm Hand

Thoroughbred breeding farm located in Kinderhook, NY looking for farm help.

Duties include:

- Handling Thoroughbred Broodmares, foals, and yearlings.
- Feeding hay and pre-designed amounts of grain
- General farm maintenence (fence repair, weed whacking, etc)
- Administering oral and topical medication

Required:

- Valid drivers license and reliable vehicle/ transportation
- Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks in a timely fashion
- Some horse experience necessary

Part - Full time. 5-6 days per week. 6-8 hours per day. Weekends and revolving holidays required, to be discussed.
- Ability to drive equipment preferred not required.

Pay: From $16.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 4 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Weekends as needed
