FW Marsh is seeking qualified technicians to support upcoming gas turbine maintenance and inspection activities.

**General Responsibilities**:
Travel to customer sites to perform components installation and removal, calibration, loop checks, testing, and troubleshooting on gas turbine instrumentation and various components.

**Essential Skills**:

- Good working knowledge of electrical & mechanical drawings.
- Familiar with and able to use various test equipment such as multi meters, flow meters, meggers, and electronic test equipment in order to calibrate and troubleshoot instruments.
- Thorough knowledge, skill and hands-on troubleshooting and repair experience relating to instrumentation used for gas turbine operation and in power plants or other industrial locations.
- Training/experience with installation and commissioning of gas turbine control systems and related auxiliary systems is a plus; including Woodward control systems Micronet, Micronet plus and woodward servo controllers / valves, DSLC and MSLC's, Netcon 500, Atlas. GE Fanuc, Speedtronic Mark IV, V and VI, Fanuc 90/70, GE Fanuc Rx7i. Bently Nevada 3300/3500 condition monitoring. Intellution HMI Software, AVR, EX2100 Generator controls, Generator excitation and repair (Brush). Xycom, Wonderware, Industrial Networking, En-Tronic Control Systems, Allen Bradley ControlLogix, Rolls Royce FT automation and control systems, Beckwith Integrated Generator Protection System, SATEC DMMF. Emerson Gas Chromatograph 700, Allstec 800 Fire & Gas, Cimplicity ME & HMI, SCADA.

**Qualifications/Requirements**:

- Write accurate professional reports acting as single point of contact between customers/FW Marsh concerning technical issues
- Ensure that all field operations a performed to given procedures and to the highest standards of quality
- Ensure Field service activities are carried out safely complying with company environmental health & safety (EHS) guidelines and procedures
- Travel as required, sometimes at short notice
- Execute work in an organized, safe and effective manner to ensure work exceeds customer expectations
- Minimum 5 years’ experience working with gas turbine electrical components
- Computer literate
- High degree of self-initiative and ability to work independently
- Exceptional communication skills
- Be customer service oriented
- Excellent English fluency both spoken and written is essential
- Be of high moral character
- Good field supervision skills, able to lead small and large teams
- Valid Driver's License
- TWIC Card

**Job Type**: Contract

Pay: From $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 84 per week

Schedule:

- 12 hour shift
