Accounting Clerk

This position is responsible for greeting clients and visitors and may offer them a seat if they are waiting for an appointment. The accounting clerk may also direct these visitors to meeting rooms or offices. Assist administrative staff with support overflow work, including word processing, data entry, and Internet research tasks.

Job Duties:

- Prepares monthly financial schedules for various balance sheet and profit & loss accounts.
- Prepares weekly distributor settlement, journal entries, and reconciliations.
- Reconciles certain GL accounts, fact-checks accounting data, and documents transaction details.
- Participates in monthly and annual physical inventory counts.
- Assists in recording monthly transactions, especially during month-end and year-end close.
- Helps prepare financial schedules for the yearly financial audit.
- Serves as back-up when accounting team members are on leave.
- Performs billing function for certain customers.
- Performs other functions that may be assigned by the Controller or Accounting Manager.
- Answer, screen and forward incoming calls.
- Great and welcome visitors.
- Maintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk.
- Receive, sort, and distribute daily mail according to specified procedures.
- Greet and welcome guest.

**Requirements**:
1. Proficient in Microsoft office, particularly in Excel

2. Experience with Large ERP such as NetSuite, SAP, MS Dynamics preferred.

3. Detail-Oriented and very good in data analysis

4. Accounting degree (preferred)
