**Lead Mixologist****:
ASSOCIATE EXPECTATIONS:

**Position Summary**

To be the beverage brand ambassador within The Dalmar Hotel, this position is required to have a thorough understanding of alcohol types and brands, juices, mixers and flavorings to create signature cocktails specific to the venues while creating a fun, friendly and unique experience. This dynamic lead mixologist/bartender will develop, train and execute a craft cocktail list focused on fresh-squeezed juices, local spirits, and creative large format and classic cocktails.

In addition, we are looking for someone who wants to be part of a food and beverage team that involves being a passionate professional with a creative spirit. Our Food & Drink (F&D) culture revolves around a creative beverage program supported by thoughtful food, warm and gracious hospitality, and a strong and positive team mindset.

**Responsibilities**

Lead Mixologist responsibilities include maintaining top tier bar and beverage service standards. This individual will develop and rollout our specialty bar program by recruiting bartenders and aid with the training and development of our extensive specialty drink inventory.
- Develop, maintain and update cocktail and liquor menus in conjunction with Food and Drink Management.
- Maintains inventory control, price setting, and receiving all liquor and related supplies.
- Assure that all outlet opening/closing checklists are completed and staff is prepared for opening(s) / closing(s).
- Organize staff training sessions with various vendors in conjunction with F&D management directives and goals. Train new and current team members on top tier service practices.
- Maintain / service / order the required bar equipment.
- Seeking out the latest trends and products in the industry and sharing with F&D Management.
- Lead specialty cocktail development for seasonal and regional trends and changes.
- Monitor / maintain / support positive customer service by all beverage staff.
- Share all positive advances with the community and industry to inform them of the bar & restaurant.
- Resolves routine problems encountered in the performance of work assignments.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

**Essential Duties**

The following are specific responsibilities and contributions critical to the successful performance of the position:

- Thorough knowledge of product recipes and proper service procedures. Responsible for all products stocked and requisitioned to the outlets.
- Responsibility and oversight for bar set-up(s) at the beginning of each shift. Oversee closing the bar(s) and restocking of used items. Responsible for cleanliness of the bar and reporting all maintenance needs to the appropriate department(s).
- Monitor and adhere to the rules and regulations established by the Company: includes monitoring of guest consumption and knowledge of procedures for handling intoxicated guests.
