**Contemporary Dance Instructor - Elementary Students **URGENT**
**After School Program**

We are in search of an energetic and creative Contemporary Dance Instructor to lead our afterschool and summer dance programs for elementary school students. This role is perfect for someone passionate about dance and experienced in delivering engaging, educational, and age-appropriate dance instruction in a fun environment.

**Key Responsibilities**
- **Technique Instruction**: Teach students fundamental contemporary dance techniques and movements.
- **Choreography Development**: Create and teach choreography that is both age-appropriate and challenging for students.
- **Performance Preparation**: Prepare students for performances, instilling confidence and stage presence.
- **Creative Encouragement**: Encourage students to explore their own creative expression through dance.
- **Classroom Management**: Manage the classroom effectively, ensuring a safe and respectful environment for all students.

**Qualifications**
- **Professional Dance Experience**: in contemporary dance with demonstrable teaching experience, especially with children.
- **Teaching Skills**: Experience in teaching contemporary dance to children, with the ability to engage and inspire young students.
- **Interpersonal Skills**: Excellent communication and motivational skills, with a passion for working with children.
- **Organizational Abilities**: Competency in organizing class schedules, planning performances, and managing classroom dynamics.

**Schedule**
- Tuesdays, once a week, starting next week

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
