Golf Course Foreman

Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Supervisor to join our team. As a Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing a team of workers in golf course maintenance and groundskeeping projects. **Responsibilities**:

- Supervise a team of workers in various landscape maintenance tasks
- Plan and coordinate daily work schedules
- Ensure that all projects are completed on time and within budget
- Provide guidance and training to team members
- Perform hands-on tasks such as landscape installation, irrigation system maintenance, and lawn care
- Monitor the quality of work performed by the team
- Maintain inventory of tools, equipment, and supplies

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role
- Strong knowledge of landscape maintenance techniques and practices
- Ability to operate landscaping equipment and tools
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor in various weather conditions

**Skills**:

- Leadership: Ability to effectively lead and manage a team of workers
- Supervising: Experience in overseeing and directing the work of others
- Landscape maintenance: Knowledge of maintaining landscapes and grounds
- Groundskeeping: Familiarity with groundskeeping tasks such as mowing, trimming, and edging
- Irrigation: Understanding of irrigation system installation and maintenance
- Turf care: Knowledge of turf care practices including mowing, fertilizing, and weed control
- Maintenance: Ability to perform routine maintenance on landscaping equipment

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Rotating weekends
