Machinst

Duties:

- Verify set-up parts needed on the OMCG machinery.
- Check safety equipment on machine prior to operation.
- Utilize proper PPE and adhere to safety regulations required.
- Create new parts or repair existing parts on the OMCG machinery set-up.
- Communicate status of parts being produced and quality control issues to the Tool Room Supervisor and/or Plant Manager.
- Input job information into the Job Boss Computer System.
- Perform inspections on equipment to ensure proper operations and safety compliance.
- Make adjustments and sharpen tools as required on OMCG machinery in the Press Department.

**Experience**:

- Knowledge of general machining processes.
- Strong math ability and knowledge of measuring devices.
- Knowledge of safety equipment and procedures.
- Ability to operate milling machines, grinders and EDM.
- Knowledge of heat treating and hold close tolerance.
- Mechanical ability and knowledge of blueprints.
- Prior experience in a machinist position or related field.

Pay: $23.88 - $28.76 per hour
