Job Summary:
**Duties**:

- Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures
- Prepare patients for treatment and obtain their dental records
- Take and record medical and dental histories and vital signs of patients
- Perform dental charting, take impressions, and process dental x-rays
- Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies
- Maintain accurate patient records and assist with billing and coding procedures
- Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment

**Requirements**:

- Valid RDAEF2 license in [State]
- Proficiency in Dentrix software for patient record management
- Experience in pediatric dentistry and prosthodontics is preferred
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and maintaining patient confidentiality
- Ability to take accurate medical records, including vital signs
- Familiarity with 3D scanners for digital impressions is a plus
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment

Pay: $23.53 - $50.00 per hour

**Experience**:

- Dental assisting: 1 year (preferred)

License/Certification:

- X-Ray Certification (preferred)
