Job Duties: Managerial Duties & Responsibilities
- Manage store employees
- Assist in hiring, train, motivate, mentor, counsel and measure performance.
- Maintain store sales goals
- Ensure customer and patient relations, P&L control, and reporting.
- Greet customer, answer phones and make appointments
- Assist customers in selection process and delivery and fitting of eyeglasses, Process customer orders and Dispense prescription and non-prescription eyewear
- Understand and calculate insurance co-pays based on insurance eligibility
- Maintain inventory

**Job Requirements**
- Minimum of 1-year Optical Retail Management Experience
- ABO/RSLD Certification or dispensing experience a plus but not necessary.
- Excellent customer service, organizational aptitude, along with time-management and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to learn and retain new information.
- Ability to work independently.
- Ability to work quickly and efficiently.
- Must be able to work in a deadline driven environment.
- Detailed oriented and thorough in completing tasks.
- Ability to troubleshoot and solve issues that arise.
- Strong decision-making skills, as well as consistent exercise of discretion and judgement.
- Strong work ethic; hard working, pro-active self
- starter
- Comfortable with computers and learning new software programs.
- Open to change and are willing and able to adjust to the priority of the day.

Pay: From $60,000.00 per year
