League School for Autism is an award-winning, year-round program dedicated to the education of children on the Autism Spectrum. Our multidisciplinary team approach to education creates a collaborative, supportive and open environment within our community. We are currently seeking a full-time MAINTENANCE WORKER for our campus in Walpole. Campus includes one school building, two residential buildings, landscaped grounds and parking lots, with planned expansion by 2025. Schedule will be Monday - Friday, 8:30 am - 4:30 pm., 40 hours per week. Occasional weekends/evenings may be required. Hourly rate is $21.50 per hour.

**Position Requirements**:

- 2+ years of experience in building/grounds maintenance and general repairs preferred but not required.
- Valid Driver’s License
- Must pass CORI background check.

Supervision Received: Director of Facilities

**Duties and Responsibilities include the following**:

- Primary responsibility for the care, repair, and maintenance of the School building.
- Maintains offices, restrooms and floors on a supplementary basis, including emptying trash, vacuuming, washing and sweeping floors.
- Cleans snow and debris from sidewalk/school vehicles as needed.
- Supplements lawn care duties, such as mowing, trimming shrubbery and cultivating flower beds.
- Completes minor and routine painting, plumbing, electrical wiring, carpentry and other related maintenance activities; may involve using hand tools.
- Notifies management concerning the need for major repairs.
- Reports and repairs emergency maintenance problems or environmental hazards immediately.
- Maintains tools and equipment in a clean, orderly and safe manner.
- Complies with company policies and procedures, paying special attention to safety regulations.
- Performs other related duties as assigned by the Director of Facilities for school building and residences.

**Physical Demands**:
The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
