**Job Summary**

Under the direct supervision of the attorney, the paralegal will support all entities and business units on legal matters, including but not limited to reviewing, drafting & negotiating contract terms (as appropriate with the position)

**Essential functions and duties**

Under close supervision of the Attorney the Paralegal will:

- Review purchase orders, contracts, and other legal documents
- Serve as liaison between internal and external parties during contract development and negotiation stages
- Recognize and analyze potential risks that contract terms and any changes to those terms may pose to the company
- Review, draft and/or negotiate construction contracts, vendor agreements, purchase orders, and material supplier contracts.
- Deliver concise legal documents and communications to internal business partners with support of attorney as appropriate
- Other duties as assigned.

**Essential Requirements**

Experience reviewing and working with contracts is a must.

1 year experience in manufacturing or construction industries preferred.

Excellent overall computer and legal research skills (i.e., Westlaw) as well as proficiency with Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, etc.

Proactive and proven success at meeting deadlines independently.

Detail oriented and high ability to prioritize workload in a fast-paced legal/corporate work environment.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills; must have a high level of legal writing skills.

Ability to work with individuals at all organizational levels.

**Work Environment**

This job operates in a professional office setting. This role uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines to perform day to day duties and activities.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
