Superintendent Operations

We are looking for a **Superintendent of Operations** to join our team and support the Natural Ingredients business in Turlock, California. You will serve as the primary supervisor for all facility-wide activities as well as primary administrative responsibilities on a given shift. This position is the highest acting authority on site during off hours. Primary area of focus is to ensure production schedules are met while maintaining product quality levels and a safe working environment.

What you’ll do:

- Assure efficient use of staff and equipment to meet production needs while maintaining cost and overtime to a minimum
- Assists in maintaining, creating, and enforcing accurate policies and procedures across entire facility
- Foster a safe work environment by adhering to and enforcing all safety policies and regulations
- Analyzes area operations and recommends measures for continuous improvement. Also supports and promotes employee involvement in continuous improvement programs
- Provides leadership and direction via good communication skills
- Works with the Production Manager, Plant Manager, and Quality Supervisor to improve production efficiency and product quality within required specifications

**Sensient Natural Ingredients** is one of the largest producers and distributors in the world of dehydrated onion and garlic products as well as chili powder, paprika, chili pepper and dehydrated vegetables such as parsley, celery, and spinach. These ingredients are used in many of today's popular convenience foods. The Natural Ingredients unit is located in Turlock, California.

The salary range for this position is $61,400 - $102,325 USD. Pay within the range is based on several factors, which may include, but are not limited to, education, work experience, specialized training, and labor market conditions. In addition to salary, Sensient is proud to offer a comprehensive and competitive benefits program to support the holistic well-being of our employees and their families. This position is also eligible for performance-based incentive pay.
