**Seeking a Mission-Driven Assistant Principal**

Primary Responsibilities:
Student Performance
- Oversee scholars progress towards goals and collect/report on formal data related to school culture and student behavior.
- Provide guidance for intervention and accommodations to meet the needs of all scholars.
- In collaboration with the principal create and enforce school wide systems and expectations to keep scholars safe. Including a behavior and consequences system that school leadership ultimately upholds.

Instructional Leadership
- Coach teachers as it pertains to school culture, restorative practices and classroom management.
- Work with teachers to constantly assess and improve student achievement results.
- Ensure use of effective, research-based teaching methodologies and practices.
- Work with teachers to improve their teaching practice through coaching, professional development, modeling, and collaborative planning.
- Foster culture of professionalism among teachers and staff as outlined by LUMIN Employee handbook.
- Ensure learning environment and classroom instruction maximizes student learning.
- Monitor progress of all students.
- Other duties as assigned by the building Principal or VP of Student Services.
