**Overview**
- A master’s degree in Special Education, Behavioral Sciences, Human Services, Psychology, Counseling, or a closely related area is required.
- A minimum of 3 years experience in implementing Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS), 3 years of program management experience in a K-12 and/or youth setting, or the equivalent is required, or greater than 3 years in behavior analysis.
- Work impacts the overall implementation and fidelity of the PBIS framework with all The Richardson School, discipline, climate, and culture.
- Wisconsin Licensure required
- Exceptional analytical skills; the Coordinator is available to review established broad objectives; independent judgment is required to review and approve significant recommendations.
- Requires frequent contact with internal personnel of influence and decision-making responsibility to discuss issues of moderate importance; occasionally requires contact with higher-level officials. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are necessary for working with inter-organizational teams.
- Must have had a valid driver’s license for the past 3 years, valid car insurance, and access to reliable transportation.
- Demonstrates the ability to exercise sound judgment and effectively solve problems
- Integrity and advocacy skills. Must be comfortable leading meetings and training/professional development with external partners, internal management, and/or other stakeholders**_ _**
- Requires the mental and emotional ability to remain calm and polite and function effectively during stressful/emergencies and with clients who may be disruptive, demanding, cognitively challenged, or exhibit behavioral outbursts.
- Bending, twisting, reaching, lifting, walking, standing, running, squatting, and bilateral manual dexterity to perform interventions and other essential job functions.

**Additional Information**

**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS**:

- Coordination and Leadership
- o Facilitate communication and collaboration among the teams within each of The Richardson Schools
- o Provide guidance and support to ensure the successful implementation of PBIS- Training
- o Work alongside the Director of Therapeutic Practices to train PBIS principles, strategies, and evidence-based principles
- o Ensure fidelity in implementing the PBIS framework
- o Embed person-centered and trauma-informed practices within the PBS framework- Data Collection
- o Will assist in the creation and support of accurate data collection to ensure student outcomes are met.
- o Using data to make decisions: Data is used to identify areas of improvement and celebrate when schools meet their goals.
- Coaching expertise- o PBIS Coaches have the content knowledge of the PBIS framework and professional behaviors to support sustained implementation at the school level.
- o Assist in the Tier 3 supports needed, including completion of an FBA and subsequent BIP for student success 1-5%
- o Create and maintain a safe learning environment, ensuring still skills are taught and maintained.
- o Assist in the transition process for students entering and leaving The Richardson School.- Provide regular updates to the Director of Therapeutic Practices on the progress, work, and outcomes of PBIS.- Communicates effectively verbally and in writing with team members and families, maintaining professional conduct and confidentiality.
- Functions within legal, licensing, company, and professional standards in maintaining a therapeutic environment for all people served.- Demonstrate knowledge and appropriate implementation of company policies, procedures, and information outlined in the Employee Handbook.
- Reports any suspected abuse, neglect and/or exploitation as mandated by the state, federal, and/or company policy.
- Successfully completes all required trainings.
- Reports any violations according to company policies, state and/or federal regulations.
- Other duties as assigned/delegated by supervisory staff, which may not be specifically provided for in this description, but reasonably fall under this position.
