Your role at Clorox:
Pay Rate: $29.93/hr
The purpose of this position is to provide in the shift guidance and perform all day-to-day activities, with focus on raw materials and finished goods handling, to achieve the department and business objectives. Day-to-day general direction is provided by the Distribution Coordinator.
In this role, you will:
- Load and unload all loads of finished goods and raw materials as assigned.
- Move and position finished product or raw materials into designated areas within the facility.
- Conduct palletizer and de-palletizer operations to include unloading of finished goods, supplying product platforms, and assisting to resolve operational problems.
- Safely and efficiently operate all material handling equipment, to include batteries and chargers.
- Coordinate work floor activities within shift and manage material flows to provide efficient operations. Initiate timely communication flow through the organization.
- Maintain all safety, GMP, and area housekeeping standards.
- Comply with all customer service requirements.
- Perform physical and cycle counts.
- Perform query functions, data entry and BOL printing in SAP.
- Maintain current Clorox Forklift Certification.
- Train other FTO’s. Perform any assigned duties that fall within the scope of this job as defined by management.
What we look for:
- 3+ years of manufacturing and/or distribution experience required.
- 1+ years of experience in a lead or managerial capacity preferred
- Distribution experience, including current Clorox Forklift Certification.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills.
- Exceptional multi-tasking skills.
- Exceptional communication skills.
- Using available information, demonstrate the ability to coordinate and prioritize in a manner that is most beneficial for plant operations.
- Excellent training skills.
- Ability to make decisions using sound judgment based on available information.
