Role and Responsibilities:
We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced Driver to join our team. As the Laundry Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for picking up soiled linens, garments, or other laundry items from clients' locations (such as hotels, hospitals, or businesses) and delivering clean, processed items back to them.
- Ensure that customers receive clean laundry in a timely and professional manner
- Safely and accurately drive routes for daily pickups and deliveries
- Load soiled laundry into their vehicle at the pickup location and unload clean laundry at the delivery location.
- Handle large quantities of laundry items safely and efficiently.
- Interact with customers during pickups and deliveries, maintaining a professional demeanor and providing excellent customer service.
- May also handle customer inquiries or concerns related to the laundry service.
- Maintain accurate records of pickups, deliveries, and any special instructions from customers.
- Oversee the maintenance and cleanliness of the delivery vehicle, ensuring it is in good working condition and presents a professional appearance.
- Follow traffic laws and safety regulations while driving and loading/unloading, ensuring their own safety as well as the safety of others on the road.
- May work closely with laundry assemblers, supervisors, and other team members to coordinate pickups and deliveries efficiently.
- Perform any other duties as assigned

Education Requirements:

- High school diploma and/or GED.
- A valid driver's license.
- 3 Years clean driving record

Qualifications Requirements:

- Previous experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is preferred, not required
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required

Physical Demands:

- Reasonable accommodations may be me made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these functions.
- Must be able to bend, stoop, reach, gran and lift up to fifty (50) lbs.
- Must be able to stand and walk the entire shift.
