Job Summary:
We are seeking compassionate Caregivers to provide assistance to individuals in need. The Caregiver will assist with daily living activities, including personal care, and ensure clients receive high-quality care.
**Duties**:
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Administer medication reminders
- Help with light housekeeping tasks
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary needs
- Monitor and report changes in client's health status
- Assist with mobility and physical therapy exercises
- Implement behavior management techniques for clients with special needs
**Experience**:
- Experience working with individuals who have dementia or other cognitive impairments
- Proficiency in taking vital signs and understanding medical terminology
- Knowledge of direct support practices for individuals with disabilities
- Familiarity with behavior management techniques
- Previous experience in a nursing home or similar setting is a plus
- Ability to work effectively with individuals on the autism spectrum
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment
