**Duties**:

- You will serve as the Naval Surface Warfare Center Indian Head Command Information Systems Security Manager (CISSM).
- You will excercise overall responsibility for the Commands Cyber-Security (CS) Program.
- You will coordinate daily and operational tasks of Code 1043 government and contractor personnel with the guidance of the Code 104 Activity Command Information Officer and Code 1043 Branch Manager.
- You will manage all aspects of CS program and the development, implementation, intrepretation, accreditation, risk management and maintenance of detailed CS policies, plans, programs, and standard operations.
- You will serve as a voting member of the NSWC IHD Code 104 Configuration Control Board (CCB) to ensure new projects and initiatives meet Department of Defense and Navy Cyber Security requirements.
- You will assess all RDTE and operational network system processes in order to implement and develop security policies, instructions and risk assessments.
- You will work directly with Cyber-Security Operations to ensure systems are continously monitored and results are documented per Navy Risk Management Framework requirements.
- You will investigate, researche and grant approvals and dissaprovals for all Information Technology Purchase Requests (ITPR) to ensure compliance with DOD and DON procurement restrictions.
- You will coordinate with the Navy Electronic Spillage center and Code 105 personnel to ensure spillages are documented, reported, and resolved in a timely manner to protect Navy information.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

**Qualifications**:

- Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the **NT-4 pay band (GS-11/12)** grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following**:analyzing and evaluating IT principles, concepts or methods to provide technical advice and recommendations on critical issues in support of information security, IT architecture and project management.**
