Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Grower Manager to oversee our cultivation operations. The Grower Manager will be responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of our growing facility, ensuring the successful growth and development of plants. This position requires strong leadership skills, horticultural knowledge, and the ability to manage a team effectively.

**Duties**:

- Manage all aspects of plant cultivation, including planting, watering, fertilizing, and pruning
- Monitor plant health and identify any signs of disease or pests
- Implement irrigation systems and ensure proper watering techniques
- Utilize hand tools and equipment for gardening and maintenance tasks
- Collect data on plant growth and yield for analysis and reporting purposes
- Maintain a clean and organized growing environment
- Oversee the inventory of supplies and equipment needed for cultivation operations
- Train and supervise a team of growers to ensure productivity and adherence to quality standards
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate production schedules and meet target goals
- Propagate and prepare plants for sales.

Qualifications:

- Strong knowledge of horticulture practices, including plant nutrition, pest management, and disease control. Knowledge of rare varieties is a plus
- Basic math skills for measuring quantities of fertilizers and chemicals
- Experience with irrigation systems and water management
- Proficiency in using hand tools commonly used in gardening and landscaping
- Ability to collect and analyze data for decision-making purposes
- Mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting equipment issues
- Previous experience in a farm or greenhouse setting preferred
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as needed
- Be available on-site Monday through Friday.
- Demonstrate a willingness to learn and conduct independent research.
- Enjoy working collaboratively as part of a team.
- Proficient in basic computer skills.
- Positive attitude and team player mentality

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
