MAIN PURPOSE OF ROLE
- Oversee, coordinate, and manage the activities required to meet the quality standards set for certain products and services.
- Work closely with the Manufacturing Supervisors, provide customer feedback on any RA’s, understand customer demands, expectations and products and services.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee activity within the quality manufacturing facility specifically quality control, RA review; ensuring best practice, health and safety and resource efficiencies are effectively utilised.
- Assist the Manufacturing Supervisors and help overseeing all activities and tasks needed to maintain a desired level of excellence with regular updates and reporting of results.
- Develop and implement new procedures and processes to simplify and improve operations.
- Oversee the qualification process of new products ensuring that correct specifications are met.
- Oversee the training and ongoing personal development of all direct and indirect reports ensuring motivation and morale is maintained at a high level.
- Manage the labour resource to obtain maximum efficiency whilst ensuring flexibility in working hours to cope with seasonal demands.
- Attend and participate in scheduled and ad-hoc production meetings to communicate team performance. Communicate appropriate results and KPI’s to direct and indirect reports as required.
- Oversee and assist Manufacturing Team with training of Quality employees in relevant operating and safety procedures to Company specified standards. Intervene where required.
- Liaise with the Production Controller to ensure planning requests are completed according to Custom orders, the made-to-order (MTO) list and European made-to-order (EMTO) list.
- Ensure high quality standards are achieved and maintained.
- Work with Manufacturing Supervisors on capturing, monitoring, and reporting on information relating to production errors, workcard misprints, reworks, new product assembly, and help implement appropriate measures to ensure errors are not repeated.
- Ensure Health and Safety standards are met, and workplace compliance is monitored regularly.
- Any ad hoc duties assigned, including working in different areas of the SuperHub as required.

SKILLS
- Significant experience of supervising in a manufacturing environment with focus on technical specifications and quality.
- Proven experience of leading and developing a team.
- IT literate and competent with using Microsoft Word and Excel. Experience using SAP would be an advantage.
- Strong interpersonal skills & ability to direct others.
