**Key Responsibilities**:

- Work with a DOHMH Database Administrator (DBA) to performance tune existing SQL database.
- Collaborate with other DOHMH software developers, business analysts, software architects, and IT professionals to implement practical solutions.
- Ensure that all solutions are lightweight, scalable,
- Ensure security is being factored into each step of the software development process for various systems in accordance with DOHMH and Office of Technology and Innovation (OTI) policies and procedures.
- Create estimates on time and effort to complete assignments based on end-user requirements.
- Design and develop new solutions utilizing design and configuration tools within Web Service.
- Provide scripting support to resolve existing issues and implement new features.

**Required Skills & Experience**:

- ** Installation and System Maintenance**:

- Proven ability to install IBM Integration Bus (IIB) versions 10 and 9.2, IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE) v12, and MQ 3 software on Windows Server.
- ** Configuration and Deployment**:

- Skilled in configuring message flows and message sets, deploying BAR files, and setting up database configurations within Windows Server environments.
- Demonstrated proficiency with multiple mapping techniques in ACE/IIB including Java/J2EE,.NET, ESQL, Mapping Node, HTTP/SOAP, REST Web Services/APIs, and FILE nodes.
- ** Database Management**:

- Extensive experience using SQL Server, specifically in calling stored procedures within IBM ACE and/or IIB v10 environments.
- ** Messaging and Data Handling**:

- Expertise in performing Java Message Service (JMS) configuration with MQ.
- Proficient in using XML tools and Extensible Stylesheet Language Transformations (XSLT).
- Experience with Health Level Seven (HL7) data standards, including converting XML to HL7 and HL7 to XML using web services.
- Capable of working with multiple data formats such as JSON, XML, EDI/X12, and Fixed Length.
- ** Security and Administration**:

- Knowledgeable in using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) protocol on IBM Integration Servers and MQ levels.
- Experience with IIB/ACE and MQ administration.
- ** Software and Version Control**:

- Familiar with IBM Transformation Extender (ITX) v10 for use in IBM ACE V12/IIB v10.
- Proficient in using version control tools like Microsoft Azure DevOps or GitHub, with a deep understanding of scalable continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
- ** Testing and Troubleshooting**:

- Competence in testing interfaces using tools such as RFHUTIL, Postman, SOAPUI, and other relevant testing tools.
