As the Supervisor, Ambassador Services you will perform a leadership role to help our ambassadors properly uniformed bearing in mind the safety and quick identification of our ambassadors in the crowd.
**What you get to do**:
- Oversee and supervise a team to achieve the operational objectives of the Ambassador Services team ensuring the highest quality of guest service as well as efficiency of the overall operations. This involves interviewing, hiring, performance management, evaluation and development;
- Maintain and track inventory of all uniform items for Busch Gardens Williamsburg and Water Country USA
- Creating annual uniform budget plan
- Work in partnership with different departments, recommending uniform changes, to ensure that their uniform conforms with park standard;
- Collaborate with current and potential vendors, placing necessary requisitions for parks’ uniform needs and requirements;
- Lend assistance with all support service areas when needed
**What it takes to succeed**:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Supervisory experience preferred
- Inventory management preferred
- Purchasing experience is a plus
- Experience with SAP, and SeaPass preferred
- Experience with Microsoft Office software program
**What else is important**:
- Adaptable and critical thinker - proactive responds to changes while methodically, strategically and collaboratively solve problems, make decisions and foster innovations
- Organizational skills and attention to details - stays focused on tasks at hand, using time and resources efficiently and effectively in order to achieve a goal
- Interpersonal and guest service skills - addressing ambassadors’ needs and foster a positive experience and conflict resolution;
- Effective communication skill - active listener and ability to convey information to parties involved effectively and efficiently
- Time and priority management - balancing workloads and time constraints
- Workplace diversity management - creating a fair and safe environment, considering differences on the needs of each ambassador
**Compensation**:$18.00 per hour
