Dance Teacher

**Above the Barre Dance & Fitness **is a young, growing studio and we're looking for the right fit to add to our team We currently have a team of 4 dance instructors who have all been with us for our last 4 seasons. Our dancers are young and growing with us (the oldest crew is currently about 13), so we're looking for teachers who like to work with kids ranging in age from 5-13. If you're looking for a studio with amazing kids, families, and co-workers, we'd love to meet you

**Desired qualifications**:

- Prior experience as a dance teacher
- Experience in multiple disciplines - ballet, tap, jazz & specifically hip hop
- Tuesday or Wednesday evening availability
- Reliable, professional and friendly
- Willingness & desire to continue learning and growing as an instructor
- Opportunity to begin this summer if desired

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour

Work setting:

- In-person

**Education**:

- High school or equivalent (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Dancing: 5 years (preferred)
- Dance Instruction: 1 year (preferred)
