Director of Quality and Training

The Director of Quality and Training will provide support and service to the development of Aman Staff in accordance with Aman’s Core Ambitions, Purpose, Brand Pillars, Values, Competencies and Spirit.
This position has an annual compensation rate of $110,000.
**Responsibilities**:
- Conduct Departmental Training
- Off-Job/Classroom Training Programs including Employee Orientation
- Managing L&D Process for the Hotel
- Willing to travel for trainings domestically within the United States
- L&D Administration and Resource Management
- Planning, implementing and reviewing learning and development for the hotel and individual departments
- Support individual and team development, career development, and training and experience-based learning
- Interact with hotel leaders responsible for people development on a daily basis to provide support to operational departments
- Partner with department to deliver training programs and other organizational and leadership development interventions
- Monitor and conduct learning and development reviews with each department
- Prepare annual training plans and training calendars for the hotel
- Creating overall hotel L&D strategic plan and supporting department heads in creating the department strategic plans
- Supporting the Managing Performance & Development process for all colleagues
- Maintenance of attendance and compliance records and other documentation related to the Learning & Development efforts
- Development of annual learning & development plan and calendar
- Assisting with succession planning for all colleagues
- Assisting with other Human Resources functions as needed
Qualifications:
- A minimum 5 years in L&D training experience, preferably within the Luxury hospitality
- Excellent communication skills both written/verbal with English writing skills to develop written correspondence and training materials
- Strong Computer literacy to include Microsoft Office Suite and Internet, Canva and performance review programs
- Ability to work on their own or within a team function
- Able to present themselves with an uplifting, positive, personality as well as presenting a high degree of confidentially
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
