Experienced Accountant - Tax Return Preparation and Financial Statement Write-Up

We have an exciting position available at Whittaker & Saucier CPA’s in Venice, FL, and we are seeking a highly skilled individual to join our team. With over three decades of experience in the field, we pride ourselves on providing exceptional accounting services to our diverse clientele.

**Responsibilities**:

- Prepare individual and corporate tax returns with accuracy and efficiency
- Perform financial statement write-up and analysis
- Collaborate with clients to gather necessary financial data and ensure compliance with tax regulations
- Conduct tax research and stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations
- Assist with tax planning and provide recommendations to optimize clients' tax positions
- Utilize Quickbooks and other accounting software to maintain accurate financial records
- Work closely with the team to ensure timely completion of tasks and projects

**Requirements**:

- Minimum of 10 years of experience in accounting, with a focus on tax return preparation and financial statement write-up
- Strong knowledge of individual and corporate tax laws and regulations
- Proficient in using accounting software, with Quickbooks experience being highly beneficial
- Detail-oriented and excellent analytical skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with clients and colleagues
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
