**Overview**:
The Leasing Professional is responsible for coordinating all activities related to apartment rentals, move-ins and move-outs, and lease renewals. This position is also responsible for interacting directly with prospective and current residents to achieve maximum occupancy and ensure resident retention.

**Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Generate and maintain accurate and detailed records of traffic, follow up with all prospective residents, qualify applicants, lease apartments, prepare lease documentation, and complete move-in paperwork and procedures.
- Collect rental deposits and rent.
- Ensures models, make-readies, and designated show apartments are in touring condition daily.
- Communicates, as requested and with approval, on social media and on-line advertising sites.
- Processes renewal paperwork and ensures documentation is delivered to current residents as required.
- Ensures excellent customer service to prospective and current tenants and promotes a quality living experience for all residents.
- Creates and maintains confidential resident files, completes weekly leasing reports in accurate and timely fashion.
- Assists with processing work order requests for residents and ensures work is completed in a timely manner.
- Supports management by providing clerical support such as answering phone calls, filing, and processing property invoices, as needed.
- Assist with planning and implementing resident activities in order to increase resident retention and resident relations requests.
- Assists with monitoring property curb appeal and assists the manager with reducing liability to residents/guest/employees and vendors.

**Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous Leasing or customer service experience preferred.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills; ability to relate to others.
- Professional verbal and written communication skills.
- Current driver’s license and automobile insurance.
- Experience with Entrata a plus.
