**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Manage all aspects of property accounting, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance for assigned portfolio
- Review revenue and expenses to ensure accuracy on a monthly basis
- Facilitate completion of monthly close process
- Prepare and review bank reconciliations on a monthly basis
- Manage preparation and analysis of monthly financial statements
- Manage preparation and analysis of quarterly and annual investor reports
- Prepare and review annual budgets and forecasts collaboratively with property management team for reasonableness/accuracy, including escalation calculations
- Take lead with transactional closing statements and closing journal entries
- Assist in the management of the external audit process
- Ensure compliance with GAAP
- Establishing and developing standard operating procedures as needed
- Assist property management and other external stakeholders with ad-hoc analysis, reporting and supporting schedules as needed

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance,
- 1-3+ years experience in real estate accounting
- Strong attention to detail with good analytical and communication skills
- Computer proficiency with strong knowledge of various property management software (Appfolio, Yardi, MRI experience a plus) and Microsoft Office
- Effective problem solving skills

Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
