**Required Education**
- A high School diploma or GED and college credits with a minimum of 60 hours or more are required. A Bachelor’s degree is preferred.**Required Experience**
- A minimum of five (5) years of experience, to include a combination of active game situation coaching at the high school, club/select, or collegiate level and professional playing/coaching experience; experience with recruiting efforts and student-athlete retention; and experience and participation in development, fundraising and corporate sponsorship efforts.**Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities**
- The Head Coach must possess expertise in basketball and exhibit excellence in coaching and instruction in practice and contests while serving as a positive example of a leader and role model. Other requirements include:
- A valid driver’s license and a good driving record with fewer than three points
- CPR, First Aid and AED certifications required
- Demonstrated expertise in sports strategies.
- Excellent and effective communication skills
- Prior experience with recruiting efforts and student-athlete retention
- Prior experience and participation in development, fundraising and corporate sponsorship efforts.
