Dog Walker/hiker

We are looking for a regular **PACK LEADER**.

A pack leader is a trained dog professional who takes dogs on small group outdoor adventures

On-call is a good option for dog professionals who are looking to pick up shifts, build their skills, and experience nature. Please do not respond if you board dogs as shifts can be 4-6 hours.
- Paws on a Path_ is a dog hiking and boarding company that has been servicing families in Brentwood, Topanga, Woodland Hills, Malibu, and Malibu West. We are a team of dog experts that safely hike a group of dogs every day.

**Responsibilities**:

- Pick up dogs in your vehicle, drive group of dogs to the hiking spot, hike dogs (on and off leash), drop dogs off at homes
- Time Management - Showing up on time, picking optimal routes, being flexible with traffic and weather
- Driving/Providing your own transportation for you and the dogs, transporting 1-6 dogs at a time, picking dogs up, dropping dogs off, driving local canyon roads safely. Must have valid US drivers license.
- Dog Awareness - hiking with multiple dogs on/off leash, training/disciplining dogs, trained in dog first aide (overheating, wound care, foxtail removal)

**Job Types**: Part-time, Contract, Seasonal

Pay: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 25 per week
